Annemarie Ní Churreáin comes from the Donegal Gaeltacht. Her most recent collection Hymn to All the Restless Girls (The Gallery Press, 2025) was shortlisted for the Farmgate Café National Poetry Award. She has received the Arts Council’s Next Generation Artist Award, The Markievicz Award and The Kavanagh Fellowship. Ní Churreáin is the Yeats Society Sligo Poet in Residence 2026-28. She is the poetry editor at The Stinging Fly Magazine.
